This place is in a charming remote location, very close to a 600-hectare farm with acres of olive groves and mountains.

The view and location are just fantastic, room decoration is very nice.

For South Africa, GBP168 (approx) per night is just a lot of money.

It was neat, I will be returning here soon. The hotel was a good home base for enjoying a very nice area, just off the Montagu mountains, Les Hauts de Montagu and with acres of olive groves. The people working in the property were exceptionally attentive. The location was very scenic and unbeatable - only a short distance to everywhere I wanted to go.

The staff here are lovely and the pool is great, plus the location in a secluded valley surrounded by beautiful mountains is awesome and it met all my requirements.

This was the most memorable stay we had during the course of travelling around South Africa for 3 weeks. The location is outstanding with not another house to be seen, mountains as a backdrop and ostriches wandering through the gardens. The food is all you would expect from a 5* city centre hotel with no less than 9 fruits making up the morning breakfast platter, all beautifully presented. Only sorry our itenary would not permit us to stay longer.

The unit was tastefully decorated and brand-new, with a comfortable decor. The dishes were delightful. The estate is based adjacent to beautiful surroundings, a market, and a beautifully secluded valley surrounded by majestic mountains.

Les Hauts de Montagu has an unique and awe-inspiring location on the slopes of the Langeberg mountains a few kilometres out of historic Montagu. The tranquility of the surrounding 600 hectare private estate set with numerous trail paths through fynbos,lavender and olive groves is a great way of relaxing with passing ostrich and slow tortoise.

Nestled in the Montagu mountains, this quaint hotel situated on an olive farm offers stunning views of the hillside and village below. the outdoor shower and fireplace create a cozy atmosphere in the room, while breakfast is a highlight with an enormous selection. the pool and jacuzzi are a great way to unwind, and the staff is attentive and professional, making for a relaxing stay.

While towels could be softer, the amenities and service more than make up for it.

Beautifully designed and appointed with real flair. Location and views superb. For those wanting peace and tranquility in the heart of mountains and countryside, look no further. Lack of air-con may be a drawback at some times but room fans and through draughts compensate. Breakfast cooked to perfection. A memorable stay.

Very nice setting with veranda and good view. Room was good too. Breakfasts were not only good but masterpieces of presentation.

It was a bit far from the town and restaurants for an evening meal. Barbeque facilities would have been helpful.

The place was clean, and the staff members were really friendly, we loved the rooms with a nice view of the green surroundings.

The setting is amazing and the accomodation is excellent. It is a beautiful place.

The pillows are too high, it would be better if the was an option to select from a variety of pillows. There was also no Red Wine available from the mini bar, which we would have preferred.
